The story
Brothers Brian and Jacob Kirby.
The Art-Cade is the life long work of brothers Brian and Jacob Kirby, born from traveling as artist’s and meeting new and exciting people helping each other promote and sell each others art. The original crew of artists have long since gone separate ways as well as the loss of Brian Kirby in January 2026. This current formation of The Art-Cade is meant to honor the memory and spirit of Brian Kirby the man, the myth, the legend. My hope is to create a space of love and positive vibrations where the community can come to enjoy a family friendly atmosphere experience art, geology, arcade fun and nostalgia all in one place!
The shop re-opened at 103 W Beverley St on Thursday, July 9, 2026, as reported in the Staunton News Leader, July 2026.
